Beside some stellar shawarma, it’s been noted that Wharncliffe Rd’s Pita Pita is super friendly and home to the “biggest meat spindle” in town. They’ve been in business for 20 years—and we’ve got our fingers crossed they’ll be in business for another 20! 🤞

While their recipe is a closely guarded secret, the word is out that Richmond Row’s Burger Burger is serving up some of this city’s/world’s best burgers. Just try not to drool while watching this! 🤤

Wortley Village’s Roll Roll walk-up take-out window is rarely without a line—which is no surprise to anybody who’s enjoyed their jalapeño-topped Bruce Roll, or celebrated with one of their popular party trays. 🎉

Momos at the Market 🥟🥟
Named after their signature dish, Momos has been a part of Saturday visits to the Western Fair Market for years—thankfully, their fare is now also available Mon-Sat at their second location at Somerville 360 (formerly the London Food Incubator).👏

Yaya’s Kitchen & Pop-up Supper Club 🍽 🍽
Yaya’s has been “building community one plate at a time” since 2017, when the couple who runs it saw their dinner parties spill into more rooms of the house. Two years later, they held their first “official” Supper Club at Somerville 630—featuring foods from Northern Nigeria and the Sahel region—and have been going strong ever since. 💪
