189 - Save the Date 🗓
We’re only two weeks into 2023 and our calendar is quickly filling up 👏! Here’s one event we’re looking forward to for each month of the year.
Where will we see you? What have we missed?
Let us know in the comments 👇.
January 🍲
If you’ve made a resolution to support more local restaurants over 2023, this year’s edition of Londonlicious is gonna make that really easy. 🤤
-
February ❄️
Winter Spectacular returns February 17-19 for 3 days of food, music, art and community! More details are being announced soon, but with partners like Growing Chefs, London Children’s Museum and Punk Rock Flea Market London already on the list—you know it’s gonna be one spectacular weekend! ✨
-
March 🎶
As Canada’s first UNESCO designated “City of Music”, the good folks at the London Chamber of Commerce figured an annual celebration of the scene was in order: meet the London City of Music Expo! 🎤
-
April 👢
Dust off those dancing shoes/cowboy boots—you’ve now got 8 hours of line dancing (in support of the Children’s Health Foundation) lined up for Saturday, April 15th. 🕺
-
May ⚾️
Take me out to the ball game: it’s the London Majors’ home opener, and we’ve got a(nother) championship to defend. 🏆
-
June 🤓
We’re sure all you geeks have this on your calendar already—so for everybody else: the Forest City Comicon is going down Saturday, June 24th. 🦸♀️
-
July 🎪
It’s July: we’ll be down at Victoria Park every weekend with the rest of the city for Home County, Sunfest, and Pride! 🌞
-
August 🐦
We’re gonna assume the joint meeting of The American Ornithological Society (AOS) and the Society of Canadian Ornithologists–Société des ornithologistes du Canada (SCO–SOC) will bring some public programming along with it this summer. We’re also assuming that Bird Friendly London will be the best place to find all the details when they’re ready… 🔭
-
September 🤓
Wait—there’s another comicon to check out this year?! Is this city big enough for both? Somebody fill us in via the comments, please. 🤔
-
October 👻
Museum London’s Spectral opens October 8th and promises “strange narratives and spooky, artist-created immersive environments” exploring the afterlife…😵
-
November 🗓
Our November is currently open: send us something fun to do! 🙏
-
December 🎁
Who are we kidding? We’ll be spending December shopping at as many local markets as we can! 💸
