With the long weekend approaching, we’re also getting close to the city’s festival season. Oh, and our patios are primed for peak enjoyment too. Here’s a pair of events we’re looking forward to this weekend, followed by a request for some help on the patio front!
Summer Festivals’ Block Party 🎶
Two of the city’s longest running summer festivals (TD Sunfest and Home County Music and Art Festival) have joined forces to take over Dundas Place this Friday May 20 and Saturday May 21st with their Summer Festivals’ Block Party 👈!
Featuring headliners Exco Levi (Fri) and Cimafunk (Sat), alongside a number of other soul, folk, Afrobeat and salsa acts, the festival promises a funky start to your long weekend!

Poutine Feast 🧀🍟
Starting tonight (Thurs), the “world’s largest touring poutine festival” rolls into downtown for four days of all the fries and curds and gravy you can muster. Rumour has it there’ll be over 💯 variations of the dish available… so we suggest you start pacing yourself now.
