130 - Feeling Squirrelly 🥜
With the stellar weather bumping up against another wave of the pandemic, it’s no wonder so many of us are feeling a little squirrely these days. So we’re getting nutty with this one and dedicating the list to the Forest City’s bushy-tailed rodents.
Feeling Friendly 🥰
If you caught the story of Elliot the squirrel last year, you’ll be happy to know he’s still hanging around his buddy Wes.
Feeling Hungry 🥜
Karpos Mediterranean Style Dried Nuts & Fruits will be celebrating 5 years in Wortley Village this summer. In addition to the in-house roasted nuts they’ve also got us screaming for ice cream and a great selection of homemade Greek meals.
Feeling Lucky 💰
Before 2012’s “The City of Opportunity,” there was 2010’s “The Black Squirrels of London, Ontario CANADA.” Sure, the whole video (below) seems to have been created to sell squirrel-themed lottery scratchers, but did you know we exported a bunch of black squirrels to Kent State University back in the 60s?!?!
BONUS!!
Picnic-table for Squirrels spotted by Bungalow Jonathan just north of Oxford on Colbourne. 🧺
