122 - Kind of a big deal 😎
We’re a month into 2021 and it’s already feeling like a big year, isn’t it?! As January draws to a close, we’re dedicating this one to everybody out there dreaming big despite how small our worlds have become. Here’s to big things!
“King of the Big Slice®” 🍕
If we can start a list with pizza, we will. So we’ll start this one with an ode to Stobie’s—downtown’s official “King of the Big Slice®.” They’ve been a late-night staple for years and they’re big on giveaways too, with past promotions including free slices on your birthday and name-of-the-day draws.
EOA Sasquatch 🤘
What’s a list on big things in London without mention of this Sasquatch rocking out in front of the Home Hardware on Hamilton Rd?!
The Big Loop at Fanshawe 🥾
The 20km loop around Fanshawe Lake is a big one for sure. It was also #5 on our “” list...oh, summer.
“$40 Nachos” 🤑
Let’s just call it what it is, shall we!? And this is $40 worth of nachos from Los Lobos. We’re looking forward to digging into these on the patio with (4-6!!) friends again someday. For now, we’re happy to know the gargantuan serving is available for take-out!
Indoor Train Set 🚂
Rumour has it one of the biggest (perhaps, the biggest) model train set belongs to the London Model Railroad Group. The group has been around since 1938 and boasts over 5000 feet of track.
One London Place 🏢
Is there a taller building than One London Place? No. Is there a more-photographed building? We challenge you to find one...please.
Heros Comics 💥
As the biggest comic book store in Southwestern Ontario, Heroes has all the comics, trading cards and board games you could need to hunker down with as we head into February.
