111 - Meet November! 👋
Welcome to November! Despite a skiff of snow a few days back, the city’s still heating up with a number of events and activities to enjoy this month. Here’s half a dozen we’re excited about.
🛃 Dundas Place Passport
Sure, there’s a chance to win $500, but we’re just as stoked to fill our bright and cheery Dundas Place Passports with stamps from over 20 participating downtown businesses!
⁉️ 20s Trivia
Sick of 2020? Zoom® back a hundred years with Eldon House’s 1920’s Trivia night.
🥾 Take a Hike
Keep an eye on ReForest London’s “Forest Hikes” page for updates on tours through the city’s many Environmentally Significant Areas (ESAs) like this weekend's introduction to invasive species.
🛏️ Get Dreaming
November’s edition of The Exchange looks to the role of dreams in our lives with a multimedia sharing circle for members of London’s BIPOC communities.
🤔 Get Philosophical/Responsible
Each year, Western University’s philosophy department partners up with the Rotman Institute of Philosophy for a series of free lectures. This year’s series starts tonight and asks: what responsibility do we have to each other...which must be a hot topic amongst thinkers these days, because City Symposium is set to explore responsible consumption and production with their event on November 16.
👕Snag a shirt
LondonFuse’s iconic Billy Bert Young illustrated T-shirt is about to sell out. Grab yours before they’re gone for good. And while you're there: check out this call for local writers.
