028 - Patio Party đ
Why eat and drink inside when you can do it outside? To help you capitalize on all of this summer weather, here are some patio experiences that youâll want to have over the next couple months.
đ» For the Beer
For those of you who appreciate a cold, hoppy beverage on a warm summer day, Londonâs breweries have you covered. Grab a few friends and visit the patios at the London Brewing Co-op, Anderson, Toboggan Brewing Co. (Wood Oven Pizza!), and Forked River for an authentically local beer experience, or wander over to Chaucerâs Pub, The Waltzing Weasel (mini-golf!), or Crossings Pub & Eatery for your favourite imports. Â
đŻïžFor the Ambience
If itâs a âvibeâ youâre looking for, look no further than the quaint, comfortable, and shaded patios at The Church Key,The Runt Club, and The Black Trumpet. These intimate atmospheres will help your first date lead to a second oneâespecially when they are paired with a dinner reservation for two and some theatre tickets. Â
đ For the Revelry
Whether you are a college/university student, or you just enjoy a lively night out, Richmond Row consistently delivers. Barneyâs/The Ceeps (Ceeps Brew!), Winks Eatery, and Joe Koolâs are all hopping this time of year and are within stumbling distance to post-patio cravings like Dos Tacosâ Carne Asada taco, Burger Burger's Breakfast at Tiffanyâs burger, and Prince Albertâs pierogies.
đŻFor the Familiarity
Sometimes you just want a patio where everybody knows your name: enter some of the cityâs most âlocally lovedâ patios like Old Northâs Bungalow Neighbourhood Hub, the Old East Villageâs St. Regis Tavern, Old Southâs (aptly named) Old South Village Pub, Byronâs Freehouse, and Downtownâs Morrissey House. If youâre not a regular yet, this is the summer to pull up a chair and put down some roots.
