022 - 100in1Day London 💯
Since we know that you love London, we're convinced that you’ll also love 100in1Day—a community-building event (made up of 100+ little “interventions”) taking place across the city on Saturday, June 2nd. Here’s our guide to taking part in all the day has to offer!
🐱 Meet your city
Since people make the place, start your 100in1Day off right with a cheery “hello” to someone new. New human or animal acquaintances are both acceptable; there’s an animal meet-up and a unique chance to pet Mr. Fish...who is actually a cat.
🐝 Build your city
Apply “city-building” on a micro-scale by grabbing a shovel and helping to plant a Forest of Food (it’s a thing), or by constructing tiny, adorable shelters for bees. Feeling crafty? Rev up a sewing machine to build a community quilt, or sharpen some needles and knit our way toward “world yarn domination.”
🐳 Play your city
You know the best cities are ones where you can live, work, and play. 100in1Day offers lots of uniquely playful experiences like bubbles in Victoria Park (!), a water fight in Ivey Park, or “the ultimate playdate” in Cavendish Park.
🎶 Sing your city
If you prefer something more melodic than the pulse of sirens, the rush of the Thames and the clunk of trains, stop by the Spageddy Eddy Alley to jam with the London Arts Council, or head over to Victoria Park for a Bollywood and African Dance Party.
💡 Activate your city
When you receive this list, 100in1Day will be a mere 36 hours away which leaves just enough time to drop by this last-minute idea workshop to plan an intervention of your own!
